Seasonal Events

At Webster Hills United Methodist Church, there are a variety of events that we host each season for individuals and families.  These are activities that bring together all members of the congregation and are frequently fun for the entire family!

WOW (Webster Hills On Wednesdays)

WOW is a monthly event typically held between the months of September and May in the Webster Hills UMC Christian Life Center.  Each month at WOW, you'll find food, fun and fellowship - an opportunity to connect with other members of the congregation for some family-friendly entertainment!

A meal is provided every month, as well as a "program" that may involve music, a presentation, or perhaps a fun game for the kids.  Childcare is also provided in the nursery.  Prices for WOW are $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 3 to 12, and a family maximum of $15.  For the 2009 - 2010 season of WOW, please contact Jennifer Ryan for more information, or give us a call at the Church Office.

Webster Hills Pumpkin Patch

The Pumpkin Patch is not only an annual fundraiser, but it is also a fun experience for the whole family!  It usually begins in late-September/early-October and runs throughout the month, until we sell our yard full of pumpkins to the community!  Throughout this period, we typically have two "unloading days," where we ask for volunteers to help us unload hundreds of pumpkins from a truck out onto our lawn.  We also are always looking for help staffing the location to help manage the purchasing of pumpkins and other craft items that we have for sale.

While the Pumpkin Patch is a fundraiser, it also serves as a time to bring together the entire community around the church.  Each Saturday, we sell food next to the Patch, have stories told to children amongst the pumpkins, other activities for the kids (such as a bounce house and other "carnival"-type events), and sometimes have musical guests play for our many visitors.  It is a great way to spend a Fall Saturday with great food and great fellowship!
